It struck me recently how full of contradictions these moments are.

It’s grief and joy. Excitement and sadness. Pride and nostalgia. A beginning and an ending all at once.

This week, I’ve been really sitting with a phrase a mentor once taught me: “The issue is not the issue. The issue is how we relate (or connect ) to ourselves within the issue.”
