Brainspotting
A gentle, somatic pathway for people moving through life transitions, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling “done” with talking about it all.
What Is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a therapeutic modality that gently accesses the places where our emotional pain, stress, and old patterns are held in the body.
Instead of talking in circles or analyzing your way forward, Brainspotting works with eye position, mindfulness, and the nervous system to help your brain process what it’s been carrying — at a pace that feels safe, slow, and reparative.
Many people say:
“I didn’t have to explain everything to feel relief.”
“My body felt like it finally exhaled.”
“It helped me move through something I thought I had to think my way out of.”
Brainspotting allows your system to do the healing it already knows how to do — with gentle, steady support.
How A Session Works
Every session is collaborative, slow, and grounded.
Here’s what the process looks like:
-
We begin with breath, grounding, and orienting — helping your body feel safe, supported, and resourced.
-
Through conversation and curiosity, we locate a point in your visual field that connects to the sensation, emotion, or experience we're working with.
This is your brainspot.
-
You simply hold your gaze on that spot while I support your system — tracking your body cues, guiding regulation, and creating space for what arises (or doesn’t).
You don’t have to talk unless you want to. -
We close with grounding, reflection, and bringing your system back to a sense of steadiness.
Most people leave feeling softer, clearer, and more connected to themselves
As a somatic coach, breathwork facilitator, and death doula, I’ve learned that healing often happens in the quiet spaces beneath words.
Who This Work Is For
Brainspotting is especially supportive for people who are:
Moving through major life transitions
Feeling emotionally stuck
Craving a modality beyond talk therapy
Over-functioning or overwhelmed
Navigating grief or anticipatory grief
Sensitive, creative, or deeply introspective
Wanting to understand their nervous system in a new way
Ready to process inwardly rather than explain everything outwardly
If you’re longing for an approach that feels gentle, non-invasive, quiet, and body-based, you will feel at home here
Ready to Begin?
Your nervous system already knows the way. This work helps you hear it.
Book a session or send a message if you’re curious and want to talk first. There’s no pressure, just an invitation.
